Rearch point : paper manipulation
I decided to have a look at different paper manipulation techniques before beginning , I discovered a Japanese technique of rolling paper strips into a thread, the paper is called kozo, this is a video on youtube by a lady called Susan Byrd showcasing the technique. It has made me look at paper in a different way, as a textile material. I have ordered some paper to experiment with this technique.

I also looked on pinterest and found some wonderful manipulation of paper, skirts made from maps and futuristic clothing made from textured paper.
